Honourable Chief Minister of Haryana Sh. Bhupinder Singh Hooda honoured the Chairman NifaA S. Pritpal Singh Pannu for his remarkable contribution in social service, promotion of cultural heritage, literary activities.

Mr. Surjeet Subhri, Director NIFAA was honoured by honourable Governor of Himachal Pradesh Sh. Sadashiv Konkje with Balraj Sahni National Award for his life time achievement in stage and drama.

NIFAA Bhangra Team won National Folk Dance Best team Award at Cuttack (Orrissa).

Miss Sakshi Madan won National Award at Cuttack and Shimla for her performance in Kathak and Folk Dance.

S. Tarlochan Singh produce many sounds from his mouth. By his execellent performance he won National Award in Mimcry. He played the role of S. Bhagat Singh in the light and sound drama of NIFAA `A Misunderstood Hero of India_Bhagat Singh' so lively that people have started calling him Bhagat Singh .

Mr. Sachin Sethi a disciple of Guru Bootan Dass is an excellent singer of folk, Gazals, Bhajans and Traditional Songs.

Mr. Amritpal Singh is also a melodious singer associated with NIFAA who won prestigious Rafi Award in Singing.

Miss Supriya Sharma an excellent folk dancer of Kalbelia of Rajasthan and Haryanavi Dance. She won G.C. Lagan National Award in Drama from All India Artists Association in Shimla and got university colour in Haryanavi Dance and state recomendation in Kalbelia.

NIFAA Bhangra Team bagged second position in National Folk Dance (Group) competition held at Shimla organised by All India Artists Association, a renowned cultural organisation founded by late Sh. Balraj Sahni, famous film star. NIFAA artist Supriya Sharma also won Ist prize in folk dance (individual)

The Drama Team of NIFAA has about 30 well known artists.
